At Village Optical, we are committed to the health of your eyes and the overall health of your body. Routine eye exams are important, regardless of age or physical health.
Routine Eye Examinations
Diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, retinal detachments and other conditions can be detected during the course of a routine eye examination.
Glaucoma Care
We screen patients for glaucoma during routine eye exams by checking intraocular pressure and assessing the appearance of the optic nerves. If we see any suspicious signs we can use to do further testing.
Lasik Consultation
We specialize in evaluating those patients who wish to explore Lasik surgery options. Our Doctors will explain the latest surgeries and procedures available, as well as determine if you are a candidate for laser vision correction.Eye Care for Kids

Eyeglass and Contact Lens Fitting & Care
Village Optical specializes in custom eyeglass and contact lens fittings. If your glasses are not comfortable, you are not likely to wear them. With a custom eyeglass fitting our opticians will take the time to find the best pair of eyeglasses for you.In-house lab services
We also use the latest equipment and technology to take unfinished non-prescription blank lenses and surface, or grind the prescription lens ourselves, right in our in-house lab. We also stock a large inventory of single vision, bifocal/trifocal, and progressive lenses. The equipment and software at Village Optical enables us to ensure that the finished product we provide is not only precise, but looks the best on our patients.
all of our doctors are licensed and certified in the state of Pennsylvania and undergo continuing education programs and training to ensure that you receive the best in eye care.
